The AGM Job Summary: The Asst. General Manager is responsible and accountable for the assisting the General Manager in leading center operations to include Theater, Bowling, Arcade Gaming, Redemption Center, Facility and Food & Bar operations. The Asst. General Manager will lead by example in providing outstanding guest service through effective management of center resources. You will build, train, coach and develop your teams, and have functional responsibility for all center operations. You'll also assume full management responsibility for the center when the General Manager is not at the center. The Asst. General Manager will ensure compliance with all Federal, State, County and City laws and regulations, Human Resource management, and reporting of all financials.

The AGM Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Builds relationships with guests to ensure excellent guest service and prompt resolution. Total guest satisfaction.
  • Performs regular table touches to solicit feedback and communicate appropriate information.
  • Provides work direction to all teams on required tasks
  • Ensures customers receive prompt, efficient, courteous service. Provides friendly, courteous, polite, and helpful customer service
  • Preparation of financial records in relation to daily and weekly center operations
  • Ensures appropriate security in the center
  • Leads and utilizes proper cash handling techniques; per Company procedures
  • Closes and opens center establishing expectations to meet center beautification requirements.
  • Directs work of center personnel and assumes these responsibilities in their absence
  • Theater film process management.
  • Manages Redemption, Bar, Concessions and Supply Inventories.
  • Schedule all FOH teams to include Managers, Shift Leads, CSR's, Porters, Caf, Bar, Lane Servers and Arcade team members.
  • Maintains safe environment for staff and guests
  • Provides performance feedback to employees during their shifts.
  • Writes performance reviews for direct reports
  • Actively participates in Facility Maintenance and Kitchen Operations.
  • Coordinates center operations, scheduling support to execute Special Events.
  • Conducts department meetings

  • Receives evaluations on the overall performance based upon clearly communicated standards and expectations.
  • Communicates and supports company goals, decisions, and directives. Follows up to ensure understanding.
  • Confronts poor performance and takes corrective action. Holds employees accountable for performance.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to process information/merchandise through computer system and POS register system.
  • Ability to communicate with associates and guests.
  • Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation.
  • Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
  • Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store.
  • Ability to climb ladders.
  • Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store generally weighing 20 pounds.
  • Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time salaried manager position. 50 55 hours per week. Work days will vary Monday through Sunday.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • 2 years Restaurant Front-of-House Management experience required.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills along with competitive drive and initiative
  • Education Level High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Business degree or equivalent preferred
